Damian Priest ‘Pulled’ From WrestleMania 37 Match

Damian Priest was absent from Raw, as Bad Bunny accepted The Miz’s challenge to a singles match at WrestleMania. Priest and Bad Bunny had been set to face The Miz and John Morrison according to internet reports.

Of course Priest’s absence will lead to COVID-19 speculation especially after that Charlotte Flair bombshell. Fightful.com’s Sean Ross Sapp suggested that WWE have ‘confidence’ in Bad Bunny to do a singles match without Priest needing to be in the match, as he is still shown as manging him.

Sean Ross Sapp said, “Bad Bunny vs. The Miz for WrestleMania. As of last month it was set to be a tag team match, so they must have an awful lot of confidence in Bad Bunny to rock a singles match.”

WrestlingInc.com’s Raj Giri said, “Interesting that there was no mention of Damian Priest #WWERaw.”

John Canton tweeted, “The Miz challenged Bad Bunny to a match at WrestleMania. It’s not official yet. The expectation is that Miz and Morrison will team against Damian Priest and Bad Bunny at WrestleMania. #WWERaw.”

Bad Bunny recently held the WWE 24/7 title before trading it to R-Truth for a Stone Cold replica ‘smoking skull’ belt. Yes, you read the correctly.
