Roberts (10-3, 1 NC) had signed with the company after finishing Garrett Gross on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018 and opened his UFC career with four wins in five bouts. However, he went on a losing streak in his following three matches versus Miller, Kevin Croom, and Ignacio Bahamondes.

Dos Santos (21-9), a veteran fighter from Brazil, dropped a couple of decisions to Nad Narimani and Andre Ewell before winning his first in the UFC via submission, tapping Martin Day in November 2020. “Berinja” lost by knockout to Miles Johns this past August when he fractured his leg during the match.

Bantamweights Rodriguez (7-3) and Simmons (7-4) have been let go from UFC after they were not able to register a single victory under the promotion’s banner. Rodriguez, a DWCS alum, lost to Aiemann Zahabi and Vince Morales this year, while Simmons suffered stoppage defeats to Giga Chikadze and Johnny Munoz Jr.
