White has seemingly fired Jay Perrin as well. The fighter recently revealed that he has been released from the promotion following his first-round loss to Raul Rosas Jr.
He took to his Twitter account and wrote the following:
Well I got my walking papers. In all honesty. Thank you to @ufc for giving me the opportunity to perform in front of sell out crowds. I’m glad at least 2 of the fights I had were entertaining to the fans.
I’m still young and hungry. You’ll see me again. All my love
-Mr.J
Raul Rosas Jr. defeated Jay Perrin at UFC 282 in a spectacular first-round finish and handed Perrin his third straight loss in the promotion. After the bout, the 29-year-old struggled to subdue his emotions and was utterly disappointed after losing to an 18-year-old debutant. Raul Rosas Jr. made history as he became the UFC’s youngest-ever fighter to be signed to a contract and the Mexican-American lived up to the hype with a spectacular performance in his debut.
