Dana White ‘Suspending’ TJ Dillashaw In UFC?

TJ Dillashaw (16-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) is one of the most popular fighters in the MMA world. He tested positive for EPO back in January 2019 after he struggled to make the flyweight mark for his title fight loss against then-champion Henry Cejudo. He was then suspended for two years by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and beat Cory Sandhagen on Saturday at UFC on ESPN 27. TJ Dillashaw was also banned from a major UFC show. 

 


 

Dana White is the President of the UFC and is certainly a controversial figure in the world of MMA. Dana White was also recently accused of an ‘illegal crime’ in Las Vegas.

According to MMA Junkie, Now it seems the former two-time bantamweight champion will be on the shelf for a longer period of time after UFC on ESPN 27. Dillashaw revealed that he suffered a displaced bucket handle tear of his lateral meniscus and a lateral collateral ligament in his fight against  Cory Sandhagen on Saturday and is expected to go under the knife soon.

At this point in time it is not exactly known how long TJ Dillashaw will be out of cation and on the shelf, so we will have to wait and see when he makes his return to the Octagon.
