Dana White is the President of the UFC and is certainly a controversial figure in the world of MMA. Dana White was also previously accused of an ‘illegal crime’ in Las Vegas.
Nicco Montano has been in the UFC for four years but has rarely competed in a fight for a variety of reasons. Montano was supposed to fight on last Saturday’s UFC Vegas 33 card against Wu Yanan, but a horrible weight cut and seven-pound weight miss led to her missing out on the fight.
UFC president Dana White recently spoke to UFC Arabia’s Farah Hannoun, where he expressed his doubts over Montano’s future in MMA. He believed that the MMA star might not be cut out for the sport. Here is what he said:
“I don’t know off the top of my head, but over three or four of her fights have been canceled. I think that no matter what weight class you put her at, she seems to have a hard time making weight. This might not be the sport for her.
Back in 2018, Montano was stripped of the women’s flyweight title after she was unable to make weight and was hospitalized on the eve of her UFC 228 co-main event vs. Valentina Shevchenko. So far she has had 9 fight cancellations and it does not look good for her.
