Daniel Bryan has been working as a part of WWE Creative on Friday Night Smackdown for the past few months. Reports have suggested that Bryan has taken his work as a member of the creative team very seriously.
Bryan has been working hard to give proper pushes to Superstars who were not given much focus before. This includes Superstars such as Big E, Chad Gable and Drew Gulak.
Now it seems Bryan wants to call up Superstars from NXT. As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bryan has been actively pushing in order to have more NXT talents called up to make things fresh again Friday Night Smackdown.
Bryan in particular with his role in creative has been pushing to bring in more NXT talent to Smackdown to freshen things up but the counter has been the track record of everyone brought up in the last two years from NXT and how Vince ends up losing interest in them and that there is a roster full of guys who could be used that aren’t even on television now.
We will have to see which NXT Superstar gets called up.
