Daniel Bryan to debut at AEW Double or Nothing?

There has been several speculations over his new destination after his contract with WWE expired.

His last match in WWE saw him suffer a loss at the hands of WWE Universal Championship, after which he was ‘banished’ from Friday Night SmackDown as per the stipulation. Since then, there has been talks of him joining AEW. AEW Fire Big Name Before Double or Nothing

If AEW could snatch Bryan, then it would be another huge signing for Tony Khan and co. However, it was previously noted that WWE was planning to offer the former WWE Intercontinental Champion a huge deal to keep him away from AEW.

Now, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter posted on the site’s forums in response to rumors of Bryan debuting at AEW Double or Nothing tomorrow. He said that if Bryan would have traveled to Jacksonville, then he would have traveled as well. He is not travelling so it implies thay there are chances the former WWE Champion is not joining AEW.

He wrote:

“If I knew Danielson would be at the show I’d fly to Jacksonville. And I’m not.”

The world of wrestling is unpredictable as Bryan could make a stunning debut at Double or Nothing pay-per-view at the least expected time. With the capacity crowd back in attendance, it would give another reason to put him on the show if the deal is already done.
