Earlier yesterday there were rumors that the SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan has been cleared to return to action by WWE doctors recently.
These rumors went on to state that the former World Champion will be making his surprise return in near future, presumably at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV.
However, a fan asked Dave Meltzer on twitter about these speculations and the Wrestling Journalist replied by saying that as of a few days ago, Bryan had not been cleared:

While Meltzer’s comments still leaves the possibility of Daniel being cleared in last few days, The SmackDown GM himself has previously spoken up about the lengthy rehab process he is going through.
So even though Bryan is expected to return to ring somewhere down the line, things are not very likely to change this fast and we can say that the former Champion has not been cleared.
