The Daniel Bryan saga is still continuing and there is still no concrete reports about his future in pro wrestling. His WWE contract expired recently and he is now a free agent.
Daniel Bryan to return soon?
It was earlier reported that WWE is trying their best to get him re-sign with the company offering him a huge amount. But it seems the talks are on hold.
He could surely show up at any pro wrestling event and work. He could even join AEW. The promotion announced a new deal with WarnerMedia which will see more money coming into the company. Bobby Lashley ‘Rejects’ Losing Raw Match
There has been reports that ‘someone’ from WWE could be a real difference-maker is now reluctant to sign with AEW because of rumors about problems between management. However, it was never confirmed that person is Bryan.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if AEW’s new WarnerMedia deal with TBS could impact Daniel Bryan’s decision. He said that it likely will not change the situation. He said:
“Daniel Bryan, you know it’s always a possibility. Who knows? I don’t know if anyone knows today what’s going on with him right now?”
Bryan may not return as a performer but could join the creative writing team. But as of now the important part is the signing of a contract with the company.
He is currently having a time off and apparently he is no where near the retirement. We will have to see what decision Bryan makes on his future in pro wrestling.
