Daniel Bryan has had an on and off-path in the WWE, with this being his third run. His first run was terminated after choking announcer Justin Roberts with a tie during the NXT invasion angle while his acclaimed second run came to a premature end due to injury.
In one of the biggest highlights of the last year, Bryan was medically cleared to compete in the ring and has been involved in storylines ever since his return and was also crowned as the WWE Champion. During an interview with Super Luchas, Bryan happened to mention that this current run is more enjoyable as he is able to perform at a higher calibre and also manager his personal life on the side as well. He said:
“It’s interesting, because now I’m having a lot more fun because I already fought again with joy, and that I had lost. Even with the character I have, I have a lot of fun, because I’ve always loved the fight. But I feel that since I came back I can’t press myself.
I go out and do the things that I have loved since I was a child, knowing that I have more balance in my personal life with my wife and daughter, so the whole process is more enjoyable”.
