Daniel Bryan is the master at the art of rasslin’ and there’s no denying that. Time and again, he’s proved that he’s the total package and is an ace in every aspect of pro-wrestling.
Bryan’s shocking heel turn and subsequent title victory from SmackDown last night have got a lot of people talking. People speculated that management is trying to get back at Bryan for the whole Saudi Arabia fiasco and therefore spoiling Bryan’s legacy.
However, seems like these speculations might be really short-lived. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bryan himself has been wanting to turn over to the dark side for quite some time now.
Meltzer noted that Bryan has been rooting for a heel turn since the Super Show-Down event at least. Meltzer states that Bryan felt very unproductive during his feud with the Miz and therefore wanted a drastic change in his character.
So there you have it. Let us all stop conspiring against the WWE Management for once and see how Bryan’s heel turn plays out in the near future.
