Daniel Bryan is arguably one of the most popular Superstars in all of WWE. He won the WWE Championship four times, but it seems Bryan only truly loved one of those runs in the company.
Daniel Bryan spoke to Miguel Uceda of SoloWrestling, where he discussed a variety of topics. Among them, Bryan talked about his title reigns in the company. The leader of the ‘Yes’ Movement revealed that his reign as the ‘Planet’s Champion’ is his favorite run in WWE.
“Being the Planet Champion was by far my favorite. It’s interesting because in WWE my reigns have never been very good [laughs],”
Daniel Bryan became the WWE Champion after he defeated AJ Styles on the November 13, 2018 edition of Smackdown. He revealed why he considers that run as his favorite.
“I won the championship at WrestleMania XXX but had to vacate it some time later due to a neck injury, and I also won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2011 but lost it in 18 seconds at WrestleMania XXVIII. Those reigns didn’t feel as special as when I was Planet Champion and bad boy,”
Daniel Bryan’s run as the ‘Planet’s Champion’ lasted until WrestleMania 35, where he faced off against Kofi Kingston in a scintillating match.
