Daniel Bryan’s current WWE contract is set to expire next year and there have been a lot of rumblings about how the former world champion would navigate his career after that.
The former world champion recently had an interview with BTSports where he was asked about his mindset now compared to the time when he first returned from his injury.
Replying to it, Bryan explained that he is confident about his body and his longevity but he mentioned how he has young kids he wants to spend more time with. Continuing on the topic, Daniel Bryan explained that his time as a full time wrestler is coming to an end:
“I’m switching priorities in my life. My contract is coming up soon, and we’re looking at transitioning me to less than a full-time wrestler. My days of being a full time wrestler are numbered. I am more going to be a full-time dad, part-time wrestler.”
