Daniel Bryan was unable to retain his WWE Title against Kofi Kingston at Wrestlemania. Both competitors gave it their all and many fans consider the match the best of the night. However, Bryan got injured during the match.
The New Daniel Bryan was flown home following WrestleMania and was absent during the Superstar Shakeup. PW Insider reports that there is more to his absence than WWE not having any storyline for him.
Bryan is reportedly dealing with an injury and backstage, those who are aware of the nature of the injury are keeping it ”closely guarded.” So we might not get to know anything regarding his injury status unless WWE officially announces it.
We hope Bryan isn’t suffering from a concussion that cost him a couple of years of his in-ring career. A repeat of the injury might end his career for good.
