Daniel Bryan: “There’s a good chance I’ll re-sign”

It’s been rumored since before his return to the ring that Daniel Bryan was trying to leave the WWE. The former WWE Champion’s contract expires in September, and as we’ve moved closer and closer to that date, the rumors and speculation have only increased. However, Bryan revealed recently that he’ll probably be sticking around.

The GOAT was recently interviewed by BusinessTimes.com about adjusting his ring style after returning from retirement and his reunion with Kane. He also gave an answer that will more or less end the “will he or won’t he” debate in regards to his career in the WWE.

Modifying his ring style:

There are things I’ve taken out and things I’ve added in. I’m slowly and surely doing a more mat-based wrestling style. I started to use a heel hook to beat people, grounding my style a little bit more while keeping it exciting.

His contract negotiations with the WWE:

The wrestling world is an interesting place right now, but I love working with the WWE and my wife is a part of the WWE so there’s a good chance I’ll re-sign.

Reforming Team Hell No with Kane:

I love teaming with Kane. When we were tag team champions in the past, that was really one of the most fun parts of my career and so I’m looking forward to getting back with him and doing it.

Daniel Bryan looks to pick up his first title since returning at WrestleMania as he and Kane take on the Bludgeon Brothers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships this Sunday at Extreme Rules.

With Daniel Bryan basically confirming that he’s sticking around, hopefully, we get to see the long, drawn-out feud with the Miz that Bryan and the fans deserve.
