News has swirled through social media for days now about Daniel Bryan. The whereabouts of Bryan has been tracked via Twitter to Jacksonville, FL after a tweet was sent out by him which led speculation rampant about his possible jump to the fierce brand known as AEW. In a new update, WrestlingNews.co reports that Daniel Bryan could return at a major show, “We are ready to have him back in a big match at SummerSlam,” the source said. “Vince loves the guy and he has a full-time job behind-the-scenes ready for him when the time comes for him to retire.”
To close out the most recent episode SmackDown which was billed as a “throwback episode”, Reigns wanted to know where Jimmy Uso’s loyalties were with him. Jimmy Uso came to the ring asked Jey where he stood and showed footage from Hell in a Cell in which Jey lost to Roman in an “I Quit” match.
Reigns bolstered that he wanted Jimmy Uso to acknowledge him as the head of the table and tribal chief.
During this point in time, Reigns also leaked out that Daniel Bryan had the chance to acknowledge him as the ‘Tribal Cheif’ but refused to do so and that’s why Bryan is no longer there.
Jimmy didn’t respond to Roman and left the ring. When Jey went down the ramp to talk to Jimmy, Cesaro saw a vulnerable Reigns and attacked him. Jey ran back in to help, followed several moments later by a very confused Jimmy. Cesaro was able to maintain dominance and put Reigns and both Usos down as the show faded out.
