Daniel Cormier was furious at UFC Vegas 32 after Kyler Phillips lost to Raulian Paiva in a controversial judge’s decision. Cormier appeared to think the judges were crooked, tweeting, “WTF is going on?”
Cormier then appeared to disrespect Paiva in a post fight interview. A fan named Keith Peterson tweeted, “Some dude from Brazil wins a hard fight and when he gets the chance on the microphone to tell his 17 children and two wives that he has not seen for 2 months that he loves them so much and can’t wait to come back home.
Daniel Cormier: NO.”
Gilbert Burns recently clarified that he Nate Diaz are on good terms. Despite the welterweights been trading verbal jabs on Twitter lately, there is seemingly no animosity between the two.

“I like him. He’s freaking funny. He’s freaking entertaining. I’m not going to say ‘no, I don’t like him’. I like him. I don’t think he can be a champion anymore but he’s freaking entertaining. I like the guy.”
Burns added that he likes the way Diaz carries himself. He added:
“He was the one who started talking mad cr*p about me… I was just like ‘maybe that guy wants to fight me’, and I just realized he don’t want to fight me. I like the guy. I don’t think he’s ever going to fight me to be honest, but I was just having fun yesterday. Nothing against the guy. He’s funny, he’s crazy,” said Gilbert Burns.
Following Burns’ win against Stephen Thompson at UFC 264, he claimed that fellow 170-pound contender Leon Edwards wasn’t “hungry” in his five-round fight with Diaz.
