Darby Allin, the AEW star is often compared with WWE star, Jeff Hardy. During a recent interview with Inside the Ropes, he addressed the comparison and shared his thoughts.
Darby Allin feels ‘fine’ about the comparison with Jeff Hardy
The AEW TNT Champion said that he was aware of the fact that he get comapared with the Charismatic Enigma but he never intended to be like him. He rather chose to cement his own legacy with his own name.
He said:
“I feel fine about it.You know, I never searched to get compared to Jeff Hardy, like I never care to compare – but if it’s there, it’s there. But to me, there’s always one Darby Allin and one Jeff Hardy.”
Allin was questioned about a potential bout with Jeff Hardy. He responded that not only would he love to share the ring with Jeff but also love to square off against his brother Matt Hardy, who is currently signed with AEW.
Allin said:
“Yeah, absolutely. I would love to step in the ring with someone who is as creative and driven as artistically as he is, I feel like he would always be able to go. Even with Matt, I want to step in the ring with him and just create some art.”

Darby Allin won the AEW TNT Championship after he defeated Cody Rhodes at AEW Full Gear, which also marked his maiden championship gold in AEW.
He is set to team up with Cody Rhodes and will face Team Taz members, Ricky Stars and Powerhouse Hobbs at upcoming Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite.
