As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, Drake Maverick left for his honeymoon on a very good note. The 205 LIVE General Manager, who was pinned by R-Truth on the day of his wedding and then again on RAW was in low spirits ever since and was looking to recapture his title.
However, on this week’s RAW, Maverick was sure that he was over the title and was ready to leave for his honeymoon before he ran into the 24:7 Champ R-Truth. Truth tried to defend himself but Drake assured him that he wasn’t looking to win the title and just wanted to go off to his honeymoon.
However, as soon as Truth dropped off his guard, Maverick nailed him with his bag and called for a referee as he pinned the champion for the three counts. Just like that, Maverick became the NEW 24:7 Champion and he and his wife ran off from the scene and left for their honeymoon.
