Possible date for Brock Lesnar’s next title defense

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman

Brock Lesnar defended his Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34 and then fought in a rematch at the Greatest Royal Rumble as seen earlier this week.

These were two of the closest title defenses by the Beast in the last year so people have started wondering if we’ll be seeing another match for the Universal Championship anytime soon.

During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about this and revealed that the Beast will not be a part of the upcoming Backlash PPV.

He then went on to speculate that Brock could wrestle next at the Money In The Bank PPV since it has now essentially become a part of WWE’s Big Four PPVs making them Big Five.

Whether or not Lesnar actually defends the Championship at MITB will be revealed in future but for now, it certainly looks to be a likely possibility.

Money In The Bank this year will take place on June 17th from Rosemont, Illinois.

    What’s the Unverlasial Championship?

I don’t think he going anywhere. He will drop the Unverlasial title soon. But he still be around the WWE and do UFC too.

I’m so sick of Brock Lesner being champion since he hardly wrestles.

I think we will see Brock next year.

Didn’t Dave say Brock Lesnar was leaving the WWE after this Sunday. It looks like he is staying for a while. But I don’t see him with the Unverlasial Championship after Summerslam. It pretty clear now they are building Braun Strowman to knock Brock Lesnar off.
