Earlier this month during NJPW’s Dominion PPV, Kenny Omega finally beat Kazuchika Okada and won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in his third attempt, ending Okada’s historic 700+ days reign.
The match was highly praised by the audiences from around the world, however now; Dave Meltzer has done something which is destined to divide the fans once again.
It’s well known that Meltzer has a somewhat controversial rating system where he rates matches based on various aspects and give them somewhere between 1 to 5 stars.
However, Dave has gone even a step further from his 6-star rating to Omega and Okada’s last encounter from Wrestle Kingdom 11 and given their match at Dominion a rating of 7 stars.
This rating has already become a hot topic of debate among wrestling fans and they have been discussing whether or not their latest encounter deserved the rating from the Wrestling Journalist.
