David Benoit, the son of former WWE Star Chris Benoit recently appeared on Darren Young’s podcast where he discussed a number of things.
During the interview, he also talked about his wrestling training and when asked about possibly joining AEW, the young wrestlers said that he wants to join the company for sure:
“I’m just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys from AEW. I want to go to AEW one hundred percent. I love AEW. I love what they do for the boys. Take care of them.”
On a related note, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet took on his twitter after this story was published and revealed that David claims that he is banned from being backstage at WWE events.
While Benoit did not reveal the reason for the same, it was noted that he was photographed while wearing AEW merchandise when he visited a WWE event back in March.
