Dean Ambrose scheduled for Monday Night Raw; Ronda Rousey in action

While last week’s Monday Night Raw was panned by critics and fans alike, the WWE is hoping to bring viewers back to them with the Raw Women’s Champion.

On Friday, the company announced that Ronda Rousey would team up with Natalya to take on Nia Jax and Tamina.

Raw will also feature Dean Ambrose who will continue to taunt Seth Rollins ahead of their Intercontinental Championship match at WWE TLC. To say the segment the Lunatic Fringe was a part of last week was poorly received would be a bit of an understatement.

Ambrose spoke to Rollins and the Milwaukee crowd while he was getting vaccinated in a segment that seemed somewhat out of character for the former WWE Champion. Hopefully, he and Rollins will be able to recapture the magic in their feud this week.

Ambrose could be beating up No Way Jose or Tyler Breeze.

As for Bray, Bray has done next to nothing this year. Bray feuded with Matt back in January before teaming with him, won the tag belts, lost them two months later, and disappeared. How can they not have plans for the man? They could literally stick him in anywhere on the card. It’s been almost five months since Bray was on TV. They need to start establishing Bray because once the draft comes around, he’s going to be needed as top name on one of the brands because Raw is going to get raided in order to beef up Smackdown for Fox.

The problem with Ambrose is who will he face? He is supposed to be focused on Rollins, and putting him in a match with anyone else would just lead to predictable interference from Rollins. And facing Rollins ahead of TLC will just be a case of what we are seeing with everyone else. Same match every week.

As for Bray, I would rather they held off on bringing him back unless they have actual plans for him. Nothing worse then bringing him back only to have him mired in the mid card as usual.

Is Ambrose injured? Is Bray? Why aren’t they wrestling? At a time where WWE’s top two faces are down and WWE’s ratings are in the toilet week after week, you’d think it’d be all hands on deck. Nope, business as usual.
