Deontay Wilder Goes To Hospital After Sad Loss

Deontay Wilder challenged Tyson Fury for the WBC World Heavyweight Championship in Las Vegas on October 9th in their third fight together. The Rock also recently sent a bold message to Deontay Wilder.

After a very long back and forth boxing match that featured Deontay Wilder knocking Tyson Fury down twice during the fourth round, it was Tyson Fury who won the boxing match after he defeated Deontay Wilder in the 11th round.

According to Michael Benson of talkSPORT, Deontay Wilder said the following after his second loss to Tyson Fury.

“I did my best, but it wasn’t good enough tonight. I’m not sure what happened. I knew that he didn’t come in at 277lbs to be a ballet dancer. He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.”

It was also said that he was taken to the hospital after being knocked out by Tyson Fury.

Deontay Wilder has been taken to hospital for precautionary checks following his KO defeat to Tyson Fury.

Deontay Wilder previously said the following on The Last Stand podcast:

“At this point in time I’ve got a great nutritionist. We’ve got that under control. You’re definitely gonna see a bigger Deontay Wilder, a more muscular Deontay Wilder. I’m bench pressing a little over 350lbs now.”
