Deontay Wilder ‘Health Problem’ Before Fury Fight Leaks

When we think about health problems, we often think about problems in the physical form. We think about Conor McGregor with the fracture or Tyson Fury with Covid-19. What we often miss, which can be cause for even more concern are mental health issues. This was proven recently by Deontay Wilder as there has been word on what Deontay has been going through as of late as it pertains to his life and possibly his future. Trainer Andy Lee spoke on this topic. Andy has worked with Tyson Fury in the past and stated the following as it pertained to Deontay Wilder’s mental health as the fight has been postponed: “I think it’s a benefit to [Deontay Wilder] because he’ll have longer with Malik Scott, allow him to prepare, and more time to get himself in the right place mentally, because that’s what the challenge is for him is to be right mentally.”

Andy hit this right on the head as Fury must now work even harder while Deontay can take his time and take a step back as he focuses even harder on what’s ahead and how he can take down Tyson when the fight does actually come into fruition.
