In a recent interview with MMA journalist Aaron Bronsteter, Derrick Lewis discussed what he believes will happen during his upcoming fight. Reading what Lewis said really brings you into just how worried he is about all of this.
Derrick Lewis stated during the interview: “I believe he’s going to try and poke me in my eye. The way his stance is, he’ll try and poke me coming in. You gotta watch them, I’m telling you he gonna do it. Oh yeah, he’s gonna poke me in my eye.” Lewis has been accused of accidentally doing this in the past.
We will have to wait and see if there’s anything that happens that proves Derrick to be true in his pre-judgement of the fight. Maybe Derrick Lewis can see the future that none of us can see.
