DeSantis Wife Looks Like Melania Trump In Photo

Laura Loomer has claimed that Ron DeSantis is trying to imitate former President Donald Trump while his wife Jill is trying to be Melania Trump. In a Tweet, Loomer wrote:

“Omg @RonDeSantis is literally trying to be Donald Trump. And now his wife Jill is pretending to be Melania Trump. Ron & Jill stole their whole identity from the Trump’s & now they want to stab them in the back. This is basically Dollar General level political identity theft.”

Former President Donald Trump is seemingly staying away from the conservative trend of extensively using the word “woke.”

Trump had suggested that the term was overused by Republicans during a 2024 presidential campaign stop in Iowa on Thursday, complaining that “half the people” who use the term do not even know what it means.

It has been noted that the word “Woke” has become a culture war buzzword among the political right in recent years. The definitions vary and it is often used as a catchall term to describe political positions or issues of which conservatives do not approve.

Notably, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis—Trump’s bitter rival in the 2024 GOP presidential primary race—has extensively used the term “woke,” introducing the “Stop Woke Act” in his state last year and campaigning on an “anti-woke” platform.

Meanwhile, The Ron DeSantis camp posted a video of the presidential candidate defining the cultural buzzword “woke” just days after Donald Trump said he doesn’t like it anymore and insisted that “half the people can’t define it.”

“[Trump] said he doesn’t like to use the word ‘woke’ because people don’t know what it means,” NBC reporter Dasha Burns said at Saturday’s campaign stop in Iowa. “That’s obviously a big part of your messaging. What do you say to that?”

“Look, we know what woke is, it’s a form of cultural Marxism,” DeSantis answered. “It’s about putting merit and achievement behind identity politics, and it’s basically a war on the truth. And as that has infected institutions, and it has corrupted institutions. So, you’ve got to be willing to fight the woke, we’ve done that in Florida, and we proudly consider ourselves the state where woke goes to die.”
