For long, the storyline of who attacked Roman Reigns has been one of the main stories for Smackdown Live. Finally, it was revealed that the attacker was none other than Erick Rowan. It is expected Rowan will get a new look, ahead of his match against Roman Reigns at WWE Clash Of Champions.
According to a report by The Wrap, the storyline between Roman Reigns and Erick Rowan has gotten out of hand. One insider said that if one were to explain what was initially intended for the storyline, nothing would make sense whatsoever.
According to the WWE insider, the storyline was “botched so bad” that “explaining to anyone what it was supposed to be wouldn’t make any sense at all.”
It is to be noted that WWE creative do not know what is going on with the story either. The scripts were changed by Vince McMahon every week.
We will know at WWE Clash Of Champions, whether the storyline for Roman Reigns continues once the pay-per-view concludes.
