Details regarding WWE using NXT Superstars as crowd

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, WWE has kept on producing shows with no live audience in attendance. However, the company tried to remedy this situation. They brought in 33 Performance Center talents from NXT who will serve as the audience during RAW and Smackdown.

Reports suggested that the tapings for this week’s shows were especially gruelling for everyone involved. They were supposed to tape for two weeks worth of content but that changed.

According to a report by PW Insider, WWE Performance Center students and NXT Superstars had to stand throughout the entire duration of the tapings. It was certainly an exhausting day for the talents, but they were given breaks in between matches to sit down. Chairs were provided for them, but they “spent a majority of the day standing.”

It was described as an exhausting process for those who were tasked with creating energy for WWE all day.

Every person had their temperature checked prior to entering the WWE Performance Center. It was also mentioned that NXT Superstars were brought to an off-site location in order to undergo a medical evaluation before they went to the Performance Center.
