Did Bloodline Family Member Just Die?

The pro wrestling world was recently shocked when reports of passing away of WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i started to float. However, it has been confirmed that the 81 years old, is still very much alive.

Although reports emerged that Afa has passed away, his daughter, Vale Anoa’i, and Samu have both confirmed that the wrestling icon is alive and snubbed the premature tributes that surfaced. It was later noted that he is still “fighting.” Hopefully, he can make a full recovery.

“He’s not done fighting yet, he’s still alive.”

In recent years, Afa has been dealing with a lot of health issues. He underwent multiple heart surgeries and several back surgeries following a serious fall. These health challenges took a significant toll on him, leading to growing concern about his health.

Afa Anoa’i is one-half of the legendary Wild Samoans tag team, and he continues to leave a profound legacy in the world of professional wrestling. His influence remains strong, with his seven children, many loved ones, and his nephew, former WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns, proudly carrying on the family tradition.

Samu Anoa’i, Afa’s eldest son, posted heartfelt tribute to his father as the family prepared for his final journey:

“As we embark on your final journey home, we express our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering love and guidance you have bestowed upon us throughout our lives. We find solace in knowing that you will soon be reunited with the Lord Jesus, your parents, siblings, and friends who have gone before us. We have no doubt that you will establish a Wild Samoan training center in the sky, bringing us all together once again. We believe in the power of your love and legacy, and we will continue to honor it in all that we do.”

“Respectfully yours, Big Sam Anoa’i. The oldest cousin of the Bloodline clan.”
