Dolph Ziggler made his return to WWE after taking time off from the company to focus on his comedy career. He has been putting on solid matches since his return and with Summerslam drawing near, he might have a match at the event.
During this week’s Smackdown Live, Dolph Ziggler was involved in a segment with The Miz and Shawn Michaels, which led many to believe The Miz and Dolph Ziggler would have a match at Summerslam.
However, that might not be the case. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted The Miz will not be Ziggler’s opponent for Summerslam despite it seeming as if he would be. He said that Ziggler’s opponent might be revealed next week.
