Donald Trump was the subject of conversation on the latest edition of the Joe Rogan Experience as Rogan told his guest, journalist Jesse Singal, about how he met the former president of the United States during UFC 264 this past weekend. Furthermore, Rogan explained how Trump had choice words for former UFC Heavyweight Champion – Daniel Cormier. Wrestling-Edge transcribed the following remarks. Donald Trump recently reacted to Conor McGregor’s UFC 264 loss.
Rogan: I met Trump this past weekend. I shook his hands by the way and he has regular-sized hands. The media are lying to you.
Singal: Are you sure he just wasn’t wearing fake hands?
Rogan: He might have been wearing fake hands, he’s a clever fellow – putting on his fake hair and fake hands but I met him at UFC.
Singal: What he was like?
Rogan: Trump came over to me when I was working. I had my headphones and said ‘hey, how you doing man?’. I shook his hand and got a video of it – it’s kind of hilarious. He was like: “You do an amazing job, tremendous job, good job.’ Then he says to Daniel Cormier who was next to me, who was a former light-heavyweight champion and the former heavyweight champion – ‘I do not wanna fight this guy, I do not wanna fight this guy’. I should have gotten a selfie with him.
Singal: Missed opportunity.
Rogan: It was weird, it was very weird man. When he walked in though, they cheered the heck out of him.
