Donald Trump & Evander Holyfield Lose Money At PPV

The former President Donald Trump had provided alternate commentary during the Triller Fight Club Legends Night II. Dan Rafael recently reported that the last-minute Evander Holyfield-Vitor Belfort fight that also featured Trump’s commentary did not do well.

 


 

Donald Trump featured commentary loses PPV money

On Thursday. Rafael reported that the event sold 150k PPV buys and grossed about $7.5 million. Triller which is the promoter of the event has likely lost a huge amount of money considering Rafael had reported earlier that the 58-year-old Evander Holyfield likely made $5-6 million to take the fight against Belfort on a week’s notice after Oscar De La Hoya had to pull out of the event when he, unfortunately, contracted Covid. The one silver lining for Triller is that the former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, who provided a knockout finish of boxing star Tito Ortiz. This has led to plenty of people showing excitement in his boxing career and could become a a massive PPV draw in the future.
