Donald Trump has a long history with WWE and helped headline WrestleMania 23 with Battle of the Billionaires. Trump was spotted with former on air WWE personality and executive Linda McMahon in a new photo seen below.
Many Trump fans hope to see him back on Twitter with Elon Musk in charge and a new 2024 Presidential campaign. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has already cemented himself as one of the all-time greats in the world of professional wrestling. He is a huge star in Hollywood, perhaps the biggest star as well, so it isn’t any surprise he has millions of followers on social media.
With that said, since Elon Musk has taken over Twitter, it looks like many accounts have either started to disappear or we see users flat-out leaving as the platform becomes more and more toxic for many. In fact, Scotty 2-Hotty just deleted his Twitter from them wraths of cancel culture.
Of course, The Rock has tons of followers still, but with a new study on the numbers via the Twitter platform, 44% of his follows are bots from the platform. According to Gambling.com, it was reported that Elon Musk plans on cracking down on all the fake followers on Twitter very soon. This would end up affecting WWE Superstars as well.
In fact, it was revealed that The Rock has the highest number of fake followers on Twitter, standing at a whopping 7,385,985 followers. He is followed by the likes of John Cena and Triple H in number of fake followers as well.
Although a large proportion of his followers will have come from his time on the big screen as well as his fame from the WWE, The Rock is the one who’s set to be the most affected by Musk’s crack down on fake accounts, with 7.4 million of his 16.7 million followers estimated to be fake.
John Cena and Triple H could also be massively affected by Musk’s plans, with the two WWE Hall of Famers each having an estimated 4.3 million and 2.6 million fake followers on Twitter.
There’s no telling when this big boom will happen, but surely, it will be rather quickly as Musk tries to control Twitter from failing.
