Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently battled fellow former WWE Champion Sheamus to a no-contest during this week’s No Disqualification Match on Monday Night Raw. However, it appears that this feud is certainly far from over. During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that the current plan is for McIntyre and Sheamus to meet in a Last Man Standing match at the company’s final pay-per-view on the road to WrestleMania 37, Fastlane. This former WWE Universal Champion recently reacted to this Drew McIntyre ‘burial’ match.
The 2021 edition of WWE Fastlane is scheduled to take place on March 21, 2021, and will broadcast from the WWE ThunderDome, hosted at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. It will be the first WWE pay-per-view event that will air on NBC’s streaming service, Peacock.
In other news regarding Drew McIntyre, the ‘Scottish Warrior’ recently told TheWrap about a time from childhood where he requested FBI documents about certain information that he interest in as a child. This of course did not make his parents too happy. McIntyre recalled the story with the following remarks.
Drew McIntyre was ‘removed’ from this WrestleMania main event. “There was an article about the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) that America had just signed at the time and you could get whatever documents you wanted under the Freedom of Information Act. And it gave you a sample letter, so I sent away to the FBI using my sample letter to get some documents.
Sure enough, I get home from school one day and my dad was just waiting for me — which is unusual for him ’cause he’s always at work, my mom had told him — and he had this giant stack of papers on his lap and he said, “Son, I have to talk to you.”
And I’m, like, “Oh my God, what has he found out? What have I done?”
And he said, “Why are the FBI–” he kept saying “in America”– ‘Why is the FBI in America sending you these documents?”
“I asked for them.”
“Why again, son, are the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation IN AMERICA, sending these to you?”
“Dad, because I asked for them.”
He’s like, “You’re 11 years old!”
