Goldberg made his shocking appearance two weeks ago at RAW Legends Night. After that, he challenged Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Drew McIntyre accepted his challenge on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Drew McIntyre had tested positive for COVID-19 and since then he has been self-quarantining himself. There were concerns whether he would be able to make it in time for the Royal Rumble event, but it seems that will no longer be an issue.
McIntyre is set to make his return on next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, with the company already having announced the segment.
It seems McIntyre will not be the only one present for the segment as the company has also officially announced Goldberg as well.
The company announced during the show that Goldberg and Drew McIntyre will be involved in a segment on next week’s show. They are expected to have a face-to-face on the go-home episode of WWE RAW, before the Royal Rumble.
It will be interesting to see what will happen when the two Superstars cross paths on next week’s show. We also wonder whether Drew McIntyre will be able to retain his WWE Championship against Goldberg at the Royal Rumble.
