WWE star Drew McIntyre had squared off against Kofi Kingston on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw. The match was set up to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship match against the champion Bobby Lashley at upcoming Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

PWInsider reported that Drew McIntyre ended up with a rough looking bruise above the right eye.
He suffered the injury from a stiff superkick by Kofi Kingston during their match. They took it to each other in a pretty stiff manner last night and they were both determined to become the next challenger for Bobby Lashley at Hell In A Cell.

There have been several talks backstage about the main event of the show as both the stars put on a great fight.
This was not the only injury at the show. It has been also noted WWE United States Champion Sheamus also sustained a broken nose last night during his match against Humberto Carrillo.
