Drew McIntyre ‘Moved In’ With Top WWE Star

It is not unknown how deep friendship WWE stars Drew McIntyre and Sheamus share. They have known each other from their early days in the industry and their chemistry has reflected on several main event calibre matches in WWE.

 


 

They are two of the most successful stars in the company but there is no success without struggle.

The Scottish Warrior recently made an appearance on the latest episode of Sirius XM’s Busted Open. He opened up on his friendship with Sheamus and how he had helped McIntyre in tough times. Drew McIntyre Leaks ‘Medical Scare’ At Raw2021

He said:

“I’ve known Sheamus forever. He’s my oldest friend in wrestling,” McIntyre said. “I met him when I was 19 years old and he was only about 42 years old at the time [laughs]. It was very clear from the beginning that we had very similar goals. We weren’t just content being the top superstars in Europe, we [wanted to] be the guys who go to WWE.”

He then went on to reveal how The Celtic Warrior helped him during the difficult times.

“He was there during all the good times and obviously all the bad times and I wouldn’t have gotten through a lot of them without him being there for me,” McIntyre continued. “I literally lived in his house at one point. That’s where we were at, at that point in my life. When I was fired and was still trying to find myself, I was living there and he was looking out for me. He’s always been such a big brother for me”

They have showcased several brutal battles in WWE and never fail to entertain the WWE Universe with their in-ring abilities.

McIntyre is set to reclaim is WWE Championship against the champion Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman at WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view, while Sheamus is yet to have a challenger for his United States Championship.
