WWE Champion Drew McIntyre sees former NXT Champion Aleister Black as someone who will be challenging for his title in the near future.
“The Scottish Psychopath” spoke about Black as a potential future title-challenger he expects to face when the subject came up during his appearance on the “After the Bell with Corey Graves” official WWE podcast this week.
Featured below are some of the highlights of the Drew McIntyre interview where he talks about Aleister Black as someone he expects to be in a position to challenge for his WWE Championship sooner rather than later.
On seeing Aleister Black as one of his future title challengers:
“For new opponents, I’m just waiting for Aleister Black to kind of have his breakthrough moment. I know it’s going to happen, and whenever the right time is when he gets to show the real him and it really connects in the best way it can connect, I think he and I are going to do some cool stuff down the line.”
On the potential he sees in Black:
“He’s a very talented individual. He really has a clear vision in his head of what he wants to be, and once everybody else gets on board and understands who he is, I think he’s gonna do some cool things. He and I will certainly have some cool matches.”
