Drew McIntyre Reacts To The Rock ‘Losing’ WWE Fans

Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in all of WWE and he is set to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37 next month.

The former WWE Champion recently spoke to Bleacher Report in an interview, where he discussed a variety of topics. This included Hulk Hogan vs The Rock at WrestleMania 18, which featured Hulk as the heel going into the match and The Rock as the babyface.

However, the dynamic changed on the fly as the fans cheered for Hulk Hogan instead and The Rock was booed.

“The way they built that, you’d expect the crowd to react more favorably to The Rock. But they didn’t. They saw Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania, nostalgia kicked in and they went crazy for Hogan but at the same time were still reacting for The Rock. They were just loud, to a level I’ve never really seen before. It was just absolutely unreal. That match was so cool how they switched roles out there,” McIntyre said.

McIntyre also talked about his Mt. Rushmore of pro wrestling:

“Flair, Taker, Cena, Austin, Rock, Michaels, Hunter. I’m missing people and this is already too many. I don’t know…I’ll say I’m foreign, I’m not from here, I don’t know how many [presidents on Mount Rushmore] and I’ll have 10.
