Drew McIntyre Sad Health Bombshell Revealed

Drew McIntyre is currently one of the top stars of WWE. He is currently signed to SmackDown but that might change. He is involved in a feud with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It has been announced that Drew McIntyre will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and fans are quite excited about the clash. However, there are some injury concerns with McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre missed weekend live events

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net is reported Drew McIntyre was pulled from this weekend’s WWE live events in Salisbury, MD and Atlantic City, NJ due to a lower back issue causing him soreness. McIntyre appeared on the latest edition of Smackdown. PWInsider.com had previously confirmed that McIntyre is dealing with back issues. McIntyre was out last year for a period of time with neck issues that he rehabbed intensely in order to return in time for the 2022 Royal Rumble.

BetOnline have both WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns and challenger Drew McIntyre at -120 (5/6), indicating the match is too close to call in regards to a clear-cut winner. Going by the looks of the bet, ‘The Scottish Warrior’ is seemingly the biggest threat to Reigns’ run as champion in recent memory. This also marks McIntyre being the betting threat in Reigns’ near two-year reign as either Undisputed Champion or WWE Universal Champion.

The odds also give McIntyre a 50-50 shot at winning the championship in his native United Kingdom. McIntyre is, of course, from Scotland and fans will be backing him for the win as well. McIntyre vs. Reigns will take place as a single match at all or will see another wrestler added. It was reported shortly after the conclusion of the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown as Karrion Kross blindsided McIntyre upon his return. The former two-time NXT Champion has his sight set on Reigns.
