Drew McIntyre is The Scottish Pschyopath and the performer performs on a different level. He faced Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle in a losing effort. It involved some assistance from The Bloodline member Solo Sikoa. Solo is now working solo with Sami Zayn as his honorary uce.
The former WWE Champion sat down with My SA and said that if he has to go through the entire bloodline to get his championship opportunity then he would do that. He has high hopes of being the champion again, and if it involves taking out The Rock then he would do that too. He said:
That is who I am, and I will get a shot at the title. I will go around to the entire Bloodline family knock on their door, then apologize and then beat them up. Then I will go to the Rock’s door and say, ‘I am so sorry. You are such a great guy. Your mother is awesome. She looked after my wife at WrestleMania all those years ago, but I am going to have to beat you up because you might show up while I am fighting Roman. I have to take out the whole family. I am sorry.
Drew has a valid reason behind it and it goes back 7 years. Roman Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble after taking out The Big Show and Kane. The World’s largest athlete and The Big Red Monster didn’t take too kindly to this and started attacking Roman Reigns.
It was at this moment that out of nowhere, The People’s Champion returned to save his cousin and the two celebrated with joy. Drew McIntyre was robbed of his chance in front of a crowd due to the pandemic during WrestleMania 36 and he wants to get his moment.
Drew McIntyre is one of the hardest working people in the locker room and his opportunity is important for himself and the entire WWE Universe. Whether WWE thinks that as a possibility or has other plans is something we would have to see in the near future. Drew McIntyre faces Karrion Kross in a Strap Match at Extreme Rules.
