With expectations off the roof, fans simply could not tell who was going to become the winner of the fight. Conor McGregor would go on to fracture his ankle at the end of the first round and this resulted in Dustin Poirier winning the fight via a TKO. Recently, Conor McGregor took to Twitter and in a series of now-deleted tweets, decided to go after every single person he has beef with. The former UFC two-division champion unleashed scathing rants on the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Dustin Poirier and more. He also sent a message to UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
“Have that belt spit shined for me.”
Dustin Poirier recently spoke to the podcast Punchin’ In, where he revealed UFC 264 has refunds as well.
“1.8 [million buys] worldwide, that’s slowly coming in, because they have to factor in refunds.”
Poirier then took a huge shot at Conor McGregor going for a grapple during their UFC 264 fight.
“I was able to slip his cross twice in that fight and throw my own, the second one, that’s when he went down. We both missed but [in] the first one I hurt him, and that’s why he started to grapple.. you know, like a dusty b**ch”
