For a long time fans have been speculating which promotion EC3 would sign with. He teased joining AEW and Impact Wrestling and it seems fans had their answer during Slammiversary.

During the final moments of the event, EC3 made his appearance. Following the Impact World Title match, the screen went black. Then a III was carved in the screen after which he appeared. He simply smiled at the camera and threw a glass against the wall.
The pay-per-view ended right after that. So it is clear which promotion he will be calling home. It seems he will have better creative control over his gimmick.
From the WWE Superstars who were released on April 15th, it seems The Good Brothers, Eric Young, Heath Slater, and EC3 have all joined Impact Wrestling.
