ECW on SyFy Report – December 1st, 2009

We are live on tape from Hampton, Virginia and your announcers are Josh ‘Leaving on a jet plane’ Mathews and Byron ‘Any more people coming from Tampa’ Saxton.
We begin tonight’s show with the segment that you wish was not there. The Abraham Washington Show featuring Abe’s guests Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes.
The crowd shows their love for anything but Abe as he kills time before he brings out his guests. Abe asks Tony how his Thanksgiving was and he mentions how his whole family came to his house. Abe tells Tony to shut up because he was rambling. Tony asks Abe about his Thanksgiving and Tony starts to laugh about something that wasn’t funny and Abe tells Tony to shut up again. Abe stays on the good side of the fans by insulting the state of Virginia. Then Abe tries to prove his point about the lack of intelligence about people from Virginia by asking Tony where he is from and Tony says that he is from Virginia.
Abe’s guests come out and sit on the sofa. Abe asks Zack about his relationship with Rosa. Zack says that he has a poem for Rosa and he wants to read it. Zack reads his poem and ends it with his woo woo woo catchphrase. Rosa has a poem of her own. While Zack’s poem was all about Rosa, so is Rosa’s and she speaks in Spanish but is probably something not too positive about Zack. Zack pulls a Tom Cruise on the sofa.
We see footage from last week when Ezekiel Jackson attacked Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal after Regal’s loss to Yoshi Tatsu.
Regal talks to Jackson in the locker room and he says that he looked at the tapes from last week and he says that he owes Zeke an apology. Zeke says that his temper got the best of him and he wants to apologize to Regal. Zeke says that he will not apologize to Kozlov. Kozlov grunts and then asks if Jackson is going to apologize to him. Regal reminds him that everyone wants to see them tear each other apart. They will beat Christian and Shelton Benjamin tonight in a tag match while Regal will take care of Goldust.
We go to commercial.
Match Number One: William Regal with Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson versus Goldust
Goldust backs Regal into the corner and he punches Regal. Goldust with an Irish whip and a kick followed by a suplex for a near fall. Regal goes to the floor and Goldust punches him. They return to the ring and Goldust puts Regal in the ropes for Shattered Dreams and Regal begs for mercy. Zeke gets on the apron and Kozlov frees Regal. Regal with a kick and a knee to Goldust. Regal with forearms to the back of the head and then he takes Goldust to the mat and puts Goldust in a key lock. Goldust tries for a sunset flip but Regal counters it with a knee to the head. Regal gets a near fall. Regal with a rear chin lock followed by an Irish whip and a forearm to the head. Regal gets a series of near falls. Regal returns to the rear chin lock. Goldust with some punches followed by the drop down uppercut and a bulldog for a near fall. Kozlov and Jackson have some words on the floor and then Regal hits an Exploder suplex and he sets for a running knee but he sees his men arguing and that allows Goldust to get the three count with a rollup.
Winner: Goldust
After the match, Regal has some words of advice for Jackson and he shakes his head in dismay.
Paul Burchill and Katie Lea are with Tiffany and he asks her if she really wants Hurricane to represent the brand. Tiffany reminds them of the stipulation. They plead their case but Tiffany will hear none of that.
Trent Beretta and Caylen Croft enter and they comment about how Paul Burchill used to be a pirate and how they are debuting tonight. They say that they are about to make Tiffany look like a genius.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft versus Tyler Hilton and Bobby Shields
Hilton and Barreta start off and Baretta with punches and a kick in the corner. Croft tags in and they hit a double gut buster and Croft with a forearm to the back of the head and kicks. Barreta tags in and hits a snap mare and hits a knee drop. Barreta with a rear chin lock. Croft tags in and he kicks Hilton. Croft with an Irish whip and he misses a charge and Shields tags in. Croft attacks Hilton and he tags in Barreta and Barreta hits a Yakuza kick while Croft holds Hilton for the three count.
Winners: Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft
We go to commercial.
We are back and are told that people still watch ECW.
Savannah is in the interview area with Vance Archer. She asks Vance what his plans are. He says that he is not like other superstars. He knows that he is destined to be on top so he is going to savor each and every step on his way to the top. Vance says that he is painting a masterpiece of agony. Vance tells ECW to take notes because Vance Archer is the one to be worried about. During the interview we get footage of Archer’s ECW matches.
Time for the Smackdown Rebound.
Time to run through the card for TLC.
Shelton Benjamin is playing the Smackdown vs Raw video game in a ladder match against Christian. Christian stops by and asks Shelton to pause the game. Christian says that they are going to be opponents in two weeks but are partners tonight. Benjamin says that he has Christian’s back because he wants him at 100% so they can steal the show. Christian resets the game and says that they will steal the show at TLC.
Jackson and Kozlov are walking in the back and Kozlov is still blaming Jackson. We go to commercial.
We are back and Hurricane will be facing Zack Ryder on Superstars.
Match Number Three: Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson with William Regal versus Shelton Benjamin and Christian
Christian and Jackson start things off they lock up with Jackson sending Christian to the mat. Christian with a side head lock and punches to Jackson. Jackson with a kick and forearm to the back. Jackson charges at Christian but Christian side steps him and Jackson goes to the floor. Jackson returns to the ring and he slams Christian but misses an elbow drop. Christian tags in Benjamin and Shelton punches Jackson and Jackson with an Irish whip. Benjamin goes up top and he knocks Kozlov off the apron but Jackson knocks Benjamin off the apron as we go to commercial.
We are back and Jackson with a waist lock on Benjamin. Benjamin gets to his feet and he tries to escape with elbows but Jackson squeezes harder. Benjamin with elbows and he gets out of the hold. Benjamin with a springboard forearm to Jackson followed by a cross body from Christian. Jackson presses Christian over his head and Christian escapes. Christian with a drop kick to Kozlov that knocks him off the apron. Jackson with a slam while putting Christian in a hammer lock. Jackson slams Christian again. Kozlov is tagged in and he sends Christian’s shoulder into the turnbuckles and then he chokes Christian and follows that with shoulders. Christian goes to the turnbuckles
but Kozlov pulls Christian off the turnbuckles by the arm. Jackson tags back in and he punches Christian. Jackson with a key lock. Christian with punches but Jackson with a shoulder tackle that sends Christian to the floor. Regal sends Christian into the ring post. Jackson pulls Christian up and sends him back into the ring. Jackson has Christian’s arms trapped and he tags in Kozlov who continues to work on the arm. Kozlov with a key lock. Kozlov puts Christian on the turnbuckles and then he connects with head butts and a kick. Christian with a tornado DDT and both men are down. Benjamin tags in but Jackson leaves the ringside area. Benjamin with a Stinger Splash and Paydirt for the three count.
Winners: Christian and Shelton Benjamin
We go to credits and Regal and Kozlov wonder what just happened.
