One of the things in place for Edge since he has made his return to WWE is that he would be in full creative control. In so many words, Edge writes his own character and own storylines when it comes to himself. Billi Bhatti reported on “The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show” via RussosBrand.com with Vince Russo. The two spoke about all things within the crazy world of professional wrestling and Edge was brought up.
When the two got onto the topic of Edge, Bhatti stated that Edge has full creative control, and when he decided he wanted to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, it was decided to change the Rollins vs. Cesaro Hell in a Cell finish to have Rollins look strong. This is a huge deal for Rollins to be chosen to look great by Edge himself.
It was also stated by Bhatti that we will in fact see Edge go up against The Head Of The Table, Roman Reigns before moving onto Rollins within Edge’s storyline.
We will have to see what happens next for Edge and see where his mind takes his character from here on out.
