WWE Hall Of Famer Edge is retired from in-ring competition, but rumors suggest that he might be making a return. While he has publicly denied the rumours of a comeback, it is still something people continue to discuss.

On PW Insider Elite Audio, Mike Johnson talked about Edge’s current status. He has signed a new deal which might lead one to believe it will be more than just a non-wrestling role.

Johnson said that he has been told that Edge has signed a new deal which is very financially lucrative and presumably more than a normal legends deal which involves only occasional appearances and promos. He thinks that it is more likely for Edge to wrestle right now than Paige, who has also been rumoured to make a return.

With Wrestlemania approaching, it is a wonder what WWE will do. There is always the chance Edge might make a surprise appearance during this year’s Royal Rumble as he is possibly training for it.
