Edge losing Christian Cage has to be tough. The Royal Rumble would have had you believed that Edge and Christian would be together again for the long haul in WWE. That assumption would have been wrong as Christian is now in AEW and Edge is in WWE. A former WWE champion ‘convinced’ Christian to quit for AEW.

Christian surprised many by showing up at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view signing a multi-year contract. Christian has been getting lots of love from wrestlers left and right welcoming him to AEW. Edge didn’t directly say anything as of yet, but Edge did make his reaction known by liking Tweets giving praise to his once tag team partner.

Dax Harwood said on Twitter: “Christian coming in will be a HUGE asset for this company. He’ll deliver on the mic & in the ring, but maybe more importantly, outside of the ring. His mind is his top quality, & allowing our roster (the ones who care to get better) to pick his brain will help AEW immensely.” Edge liked this Tweet.

Trainer Ron Hutchison also spoke about Christian with a picture of him with the duo: “I’m all for @EdgeRatedR and @Christian4Peeps being world champions in two different brands…at the same time!” Edge liked this tweet.

Brian Gewirtz said: “I’m almost certain this tweet was the deciding factor. Go get ‘em @Christian4Peeps” referring to a funny photo he tweeted. Again, Edge liked this.

It’s great to see the respect Edge holds for Christian. We are happy for the both of them. Christian will cut his first promo on AEW Dynamite tomorrow.
