Adam Pearce is not known for giving the best calls out there. Actually, many would prefer if Adam didn’t make any calls at all for anything pertaining to WWE. If Adam’s past decisions weren’t up to par with many, maybe him vouching for Edge will change some minds, but did it last? Goldberg ‘Disrespects’ Edge Backstage At WrestleMania.
Adam Pearce mentioned previously that he might strip Roman of his title for Edge, but it looks like plans have changed and changes of heart have happened as this storyline seems about over.
Pearce took to Twitter stating: “I’m happy to report that @WWERobinson and I shared a socially-distant-yet-wonderful hug today.”
This was supposed to go hand in hand with the conspiracy that Edge didn’t actually lose the match between Reigns and Bryan at WrestleMania.
Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas discussed the possibility of Edge overturning Roman Reigns’ victory over him at WrestleMania since he was on top of Daniel Bryan in a new Wrestling Inc. Podcast interview.
Jimmy: “Now, here’s the question, you’re going to make me have to go back and look at this, were Edge’s shoulders anywhere near the ground or was he just on top of Daniel Bryan? If Edge was on top but his shoulders were on the ground, then he technically was pinned as well. BUT if he was on top of Daniel Bryan, then maybe he does have a gripe because he technically wasn’t pinned. He was in direct contact with Daniel Bryan too, so that may be an out as well.”
Korderas stated that maybe Edge should bring up in kayfabe that he wasn’t pinned.
