On the latest episode of the “Nitty Gritty Dirt Show” on RussosBrand.com, host Billi Bhatti and former WWE writer Vince Russo, discussed how Edge would pick his opponent for WrestleMania at Elimination Chamber with a surprise appearance, with a McIntyre and Reigns angle planned, with WWE moving towards Reigns after fan reactions (the direction they ended up going in).

Bhatti: Now this is the storyline, Roman Reigns is being a heel who has put himself in the position to beat one person at the Elimination Chamber on Sunday and he’s not in the match. Drew McIntyre is going to have to go through the whole chamber and Edge is going to come in as the babyface and say: “You impressed the hell out of me, you’re the number one champion here, what you went through last night is amazing and I want to challenge you.”
Bhatti continued: We also have Edge saving McIntyre from Miz’s cash-in and we also have Miz & Morrison Vs. Edge & Christian at Fastlane. That is what they are supposed to do but then you have the seventy-one percent from that poll who don’t want to see McIntyre-Edge but rather Roman Vs Edge. I don’t care either way and I don’t care about either option unless there is a heel turn which there won’t be if it’s Roman Reigns Vs. Edge.
